This will be my 6th year in a row doing photography for SXSW and I’ve had some amazing experiences. I’ve been able to photograph bands before their rise to popularity – Ben Howard, James Bay, Macklemore, Leon Bridges… and probably the top of my list of SXSW experiences is brining my mom backstage to meet and chat with Neil Young a few year ago. If you have ever been to SXSW then you know that there are 1000’s of parties and you can get some major FOMO and get yourself lost in a lame event. I have spent way too much time putting together a spreadsheet of parties and events that you should attend. Most of these came from others so feel free to copy/paste into your own list.
