“This Is Where We Meet” is the first song from the album, Shot At The Moon from musician Marco Cartolari. Colored Lion was hired to create a Lyric Video and our idea was a man walking all night battling back and forth on an important decision to make. We began filming around 4am to catch the sunrise in Austin, Texas. Marco’s team liked the video so much that they instead used it for the official music video. Actor Ty McLeod did an amazing job showcasing his internal struggle.

This is where we meet,
Where no one can see
This is where we meet,
Just you and me
This is where we hide,
Where we lay in shame
This is where we meet,
Where we share our blame
This is where we meet,
Under rainbow’s end
Treasure and despair
So neatly blend
And time stands still
When we’re arching up in pain
When the waters part
Only to swallow us again
This is where we meet,
This is where we part
This is where we play
Dirty Hold’em with our hearts
This is where we meet
This is where we start
And it’s a long, long long way down
When you’re falling apart
This is where we dwell
Wrapped up in our sin
This is where we count
The blessings that could have been
This is where we tear
Our flesh apart
And we don’t even know
How much we’ve been scarred
This is where we meet
This is where we burn
The good deeds in our life
At every turn
Who’s a thief and who’s a saint
Someone asked someday
It’s for this sliver of life that we
So dearly have to pay
Trapped in’a cage of lust
‘Till we break or we bend
If the feeling’s so strong
Why should we make amends
I should look for redemption
But I can’t let it go
My will just melts away
Like early summer’s snow
This is where we meet
As trouble lights grow dim
Our secret temple shakes
While we sing our hymns
Two rivers that will flow
Meeting only underneath
And then come up for air
To die in this barren heath
This is where we meet
This is where we killed
The remnants of hearts
We could have filled
And we burn our souls
Between heaven and earth
In this flame of love and pain
We end our love in vain ….
And then we start again
