Surprising a girl is never an easy thing to do. Convincing her that you want to fly a drone after passing 5 or 6 large signs that say ‘No Drone’ (while in Mexico) increases the difficulty. Oh, and btw we will be hiking up the tallest Mayan pyramid on the Yucatan Peninsula and the second tallest Mayan pyramid in the world. No Sweat. Actually, lots and lots of sweat. Like non-stop sweating.

I’m lucky that Christine and I like to take photos and video during our trips so bringing a backpack full of equipment doesn’t sound any alarms.
I’m lucky that a complete stranger took photo after photo of us during this special moment… and they were actually in focus! 😲
I’m lucky that I met such a wonderful woman and being with her has been the greatest adventure of my life.
I’m lucky that she said YES.
